Drishyakala Art Museum, New Delhi

The historic Red Fort barracks are a sight to behold. When we approached the museum project, preserving the grandeur of the space became our foremost objective. The key to heritage lighting is honoring the original architectural features while adapting the space for its new purpose; an art museum. To achieve this, we chose to install the lighting fixtures as high as possible so that they remain unobtrusive to the observer’s line of sight. The recommended museum lumination levels were meticulously maintained, allowing each artifact to shine without compromising the overall ambiance.
