One Design/ Multiple Possibilities
An exposed ceiling plan has both benefits and drawbacks. Given the strong geometry of the existing trusses in the space, we had to visually balance the layout of the tracks so that they did not overwhelm the ceiling, stealing the spotlight from the artwork below and hampering the visitor’s experience.
Nature Morte represents multiple artists using various mediums of expression that had to be accommodated in the same space. The inventory of fixtures was decided to keep in mind the wide variety of artists that the gallery represents.
The gallery’s heartbeat lies in its versatility. One day, it hosts avant-garde installations; the next, it celebrates timeless classics. Our lighting design is agile, ready to transform with every changing exhibit!
